Organized by the Museum Committee, the first exhibition, which lasted a month, presented the public with a wide collection of ceramic, wood, glass, tissue, metal, wax objects inspired by museum heritage, imagined, created and executed by 22 artists exclusively for the Museum Gift Shop. Aimed at stimulating and encouraging the Lebanese creative spirit the initial exhibition was a huge success and has been repeated numerous times.
